Echo is part of the Carin Series.

I began this series after the passing of my parents. They are markers along the pathways of our lives. Each one embodies an associative narrative that speaks to of each us. They are objects that present a portal and can provide for us what we need to see, feel and hear in the moment.

Echo reflects the silent waves of water and wind. The reverberating sounds of nature. Quiet and constant, permanent and powerful. The cool calming colors in this piece and graceful shape project a peaceful elegant presence.

The Carin Series are made of 2 separate cast glass pieces. The top simply sets into the bottom piece is able to rotate 360 degrees to create dynamic angles and reflections. There are countless ways to display these works. The top piece is secured with a set screw. (allen wrench included). The colors are fused into the glass and will never fade.
