Cast Glass, Metal Leaf
Size: 13 W x 10 H x 3 D in
Discover “Amber Waves,” a truly unique cast glass sculpture that invites tranquility into your home. Inspired by the breathtaking north shore of Lake Superior and by the work of George Morrison (1919–2000), the Native American Abstract Expressionist painter and sculptor whom I had the privilege to meet.
The horizon serves as an organizing structure for visual space—our most fundamental means of orientation.
This original piece captures the serene beauty of the north shore. The rich earth tones of amber, brown, and gold are reminiscent of a sunset’s glow reflecting on gently textured waves. This contemporary handcrafted cast glass piece with metal leaf surrounding the edges, possesses a captivating depth and subtle movement.
This one-of-a-kind sculpture is perfect for adding a touch of understated elegance to any tabletop, shelf or window sill. Let the calming presence of “Amber Waves” transform your living space, bringing a piece of fine art into your everyday.
The two separate pieces stack comfortably and museum gel is included for secure installation.
Certificate of Authenticity accompanies the piece as well.
