Cast Glass and Stainless Steel
Size: 18 W x 10 H x 3 D in
“Meditation Puzzle” is an early piece in the Horizon series. Inspired by the north shore of Lake Superior and by the artistic vision of George Morrison (1919–2000), the Native American Abstract Expressionist painter and sculptor whom I had the privilege to meet.
The horizon serves as an organizing structure for visual space—our most fundamental means of orientation.
This fragmented landscape capturing the emergence of a moon or sun freezes time and space. Earthy ambers, greens and grays have a primordial feel. Jagged coastline and turbulent waters echo throughout this one of a kind sculpture. Made using carving and casting techniques, this beautiful piece of fine craft emotes timeless energy and beauty.
Secured to a block of stainless steel, the floating form feel as if it is suspended in space.
Whether on a table top, shelf, or perched on a window sill, it brings a contemporary feel to your home.
Certificate of Authenticity included.
