Cast Glass, Metal Leaf
Size: 15 W x 9 H x 2 D in
Discover the serene beauty of “Skyscape – Rose,” a captivating cast glass sculpture from the Horizon series and a limited edition.
This piece draws inspiration from the north shore of Lake Superior and the influence of Native American Abstract Expressionist George Morrison. The composition, organized by the fundamental element of the horizon, offers a sense of calm orientation, evoking the feeling of a peaceful moment where a sun or moon rests gently in a cubist-inspired landscape.
Made using carving and casting techniques, this abstract artwork presents a painterly quality that feels both contemporary and timeless. The materials, glass and metal leaf around the edges, combine to create a unique, one-of-a-kind fine art piece.
The two cast glass elements stack comfortably, and museum gel is included to insure secure installation.
Certificate of Authenticity included.
