The works in my “Sentinel” series are figurative in scale with imagery that suggests abstract landscapes. The cast-glass slabs are five to six feet tall and two inches thick, smooth on one side with a carved relief on the other. For me, these pieces have an almost human physical presence; I see them as sculptural bodies standing watch over their surroundings.
